Honeysuckle smelling trash

We all have our own talents and short falls, weaknesses and strengths.
One of the weaknesses I possess is the dislike to complete the trash duty.

There are so many characteristic I could use to confirm my reasoning such as the smell, the bag breaking, or leaking garbage juice (especially when it lands on you). Also, I forgot to add the weird "creations" of images that are pressed against the lining. Man, my imagination goes wild thinking about what kind of rotten item is producing such picture.

But, my dislike has evolved into enjoyment over night. Just like that.
It seems as though everyday I find myself taking Lil Miss on a journey to the dumpster.

First off, I know it's sad that two grown adults and a little one can FILL up garbage bags on a daily basis but lets think about it... Avery pees alot. With that said, I may even take an "almost full" bag just to take that walk. The walk that smells like honeysuckle. Yes, every now and then you get the nasty trash scent but mostly lovely honey.

As kids honeysuckle grew around our neighborhood and the smell was delightful. We would even take the time to suck that one tiny drop of sweetness from the flower until there were no more buds on the tree. Its a fun treat I give myself while performing a task I generally ask James to complete. On another note:

Lil Miss is up and running... as long as she can hold on to something she is standing and walking. She also has found delight in the toilet paper in the bathroom. I think the bathroom is heaven on earth in her eyes. Its where she gets to bathe (a favorite activity), and it has rolls of bathroom tissue to play with. Really, what more could a girl ask for?

** I drove to Target today. Granted, Target is two blocks from our home. Yet, I did it. I do need lots more practice and thank goodness James was with me. He was coaching me along the way.
James assured me I did well, and that it is a hard clutch (whatever that means).

Hail... really?

Okay so for the past couple of weeks we have been enjoying the lovely spring weather.
And then, this...
Hail.
Really, I haven't experienced balls of ice hitting my car since I left Dallas.
Almost about eight years ago. Goodness, time flies.
At least it's not snow, right?
We get to enjoy our warm apartment while
Mr.Pendleton has to work in such terrible weather.

I absolutely love this photo. Had to share.
Lil Miss enjoying some bath time.
She is napping naked right now. She prefers topless.
Don't worry most tots do, it's normal.

Hope your hump day was marvelous!

Up and Running.

We are up and running. Finally, have some internet.
Lil Miss is cuter than ever.
She enjoys her days with mommy...
crawling, babbling, standing and "trying" to walk.
It is such a blessing to stay home with her.
We are getting into a routine now that we have our own place.

Our Mother's Day as Virginia {LOVERS}:
How was yours?
I am so very grateful for these two, words can't describe.
The day together was delightful.
We went on a Sunday drive,
which I love driving along a country road with my loved ones.

We also visited Williamsberg.
It was nice to be with family and friends, but the attraction was sub par.
Mr. Pendleton was a good sport about it,
but I have to agree with him there wasn't much thrill to it.

** Daddy and Avery getting ready for bed.
Since moving for the summer, Lil Miss hasn't been the easiest to put to bed.
Back at home, we could just lay her down and she would wiggle a little then drift off.
Last night, I had to try the let her scream it out technique.

I was/am NOT a fan...
Unlike me, Mr. Pendleton kept his cool while helping his wifey keep hers.
It is harder than I thought it would be.
So tonight I tried it by MYSELF (yes I know, daring):
Results- it was a SUCCESS, and the screaming only lasted about 10 mins.
Granted it was a LONG 10 mins, but she is now resting peaceful.

{Lovers} home

We have a new home.
It is very far from our family, but will do for now.
We feel so very blessed to be here.

We look forward to the adventures that the east coast has in store for us.

The weather is absolutely AMAZING here. Wonderful temperature and no snow in sight.
We take multiple walks, me and the Lil Miss, to enjoy the surroundings.
Also, I can't drive the car we bought.
It's a manual and I don't know how to drive it.
I know, pathetic. Mr.Pendleton will teach me, maybe.
If not, at least I am getting good exercise.

**I am anticipating the 4th of July here.
Hopefully, the festivities don't let us down, and I bet they won't.

Cinco de Mayo in the Aquarium

We went to the Virginia Aquarium & Marina Center today.
We saw sharks, sea lions, sea turtles, and lots of Nemo(s)- FISHIES.
It was pretty cool.
I liked it and little miss STARED, a LOT= she liked it.
{Avery watching the big shark in the Background}

This was along the our nature walk.
Great weather and scenery.

** We got a car (Nissan Sentra) and James sold 3 accounts!!
We are moving to Richmond, tomorrow. Finally.

Happy CINCO de MAYO...
We are getting tacos for dinner to celebrate.
Actually, the office beat their goal for yesterday, so that is the real reason for the tacos.
But it works, right?

Nomadic {Lovers}

It would be wonderful to blog about our new home and such,
but we haven't reached it yet.
Our move hasn't gone quite as planned.
We are still living out of hotel(s).

{Avery: Car ride from the Hilton to La Quinta}

Last night's sleep was undisturbed and peaceful. Thanks to the Hilton Garden Inn.
Their "King" size beds are to die for, and you feel like you have when you are in dreamland.
You don't want to move a single muscle, so we didn't.
Morning wake-up 10:00 am. One word. Beautiful.

I was trying to get some pictures of Little Miss entertaining herself in front of the full length mirror. She is so very cute. I just sat on the bed and watched her for 20 mins. Welcome to the joys of motherhood. A bigger grin doesn't meet her face except when her favorite daddy walks through the door.

P.S. We think we have found a car. Keep your fingers crossed.

**This "car shopping" has been a lot more stressful for
Mr. Pendleton and I than we thought it would be.
Lesson learned: Drive to summer sales with your car.

Don't you love how you learn little lessons along the way? I do, sometimes.

{Lovers} safe and sound

We made it here, safely.
We were even able to take a little swim in the pool this morning which was lovely.
And little miss was as adorable as ever.
My favorite picture of little miss is with her daddy.
Melts my heart.
We are enjoying our summer vacation.
Little miss was "curious" to say the least about the pool.
It seems that she will enjoy swimming after she gets comfortable with the water.
We are now just really eager to get into OUR apartments.

**Starting up the daily updates again.
Enjoy. Hopefully they are interesting enough for y'all.
